Step 1: Expand the Plastic

The articulating arm links are usually snap-fit. This helps in shortening after hard impacts. Also, reassembling is easier. No matter you are dealing with bending sharply for breaking apart or pushing together firmly so that you can reassemble-this is important.
On the other hand, the ball design of the mounting bracket is done in a way that it can release easily. At times, the joint will release while adjusting. You might think that you can re-attach it while riding but trust us-you cannot! Refrain yourself from doing it. Instead, pull over your bike in a safe place first. Step 6: Safe Fingers
At times, the mirror arm might snap off the base unit. No matter what’s the reason, it is very common. You can snap back on too! Let us explain how to do it! First, you have to sit down in a place and hold the helmet. Position it upside-down on your lap.
Make sure that the front of the helmet is facing away from your body. With your fist, hold the mirror assembly. Also, keep the mirror side of the helmet on top of your thumb.
